Do you have payment plans available?
Yes, we offer payment plans through Payright. These incur an additional fee (9-12%) which is calculated on the length of the plan. For more information, please contact The Cosmetic Hub.
What are the prerequisites for doing a course in Cosmetic Tattooing?
It is a prerequisite that you have a Certificate in Infection Control before you can commence studies in Cosmetic Tattooing. As a result, will need to complete a Unit of Competency with the code "HLTINF005 - Maintain infection prevention for skin penetration treatments" before beginning your course with The Cosmetic Hub Academy. This can be done through TAFE or another Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers this unit.
Is this course accredited? Do I need to do an accredited course to operate as a Cosmetic Tattooist?
Currently, Cosmetic Tattooing is just one unit that is part of a bigger course (Diploma of Beauty Therapy). Therefore, there is no formal qualification available for Cosmetic Tattooing. Upon finishing your course with us, The Cosmetic Hub will issue you a 'Certificate of Completion' instead.
You may use your experience in Cosmetic Tattooing to apply for "Recognition of Prior Learning" or a "Statement of Attainment" at a later date if you choose to study further. For more details, please contact The Cosmetic Hub.
Is there anything else I need to do to start my career as a Cosmetic Tattooist?
We endeavour to make our courses as well-rounded as possible to ensure you have everything you need for a successful start in the PMU industry. However, you need to comply with local council regulations in order to operate as a Cosmetic Tattooist. These regulations are different (but similar) in every state. You can look up this criteria on your local council website and we discuss this in the beginners Art of Brows course.
